The innovative Fellowes DS-1 with patented Safe Sense technology stops the shredder immediately when paper entry is touched. This affordable, light duty shredder reduces documents to 5/32" x 1-3/8" confetti particles for extra security. It can shred up to 11 sheets per pass, 10-20 times per day, for a total daily capacity as high as 220 sheets. A built-in reverse function easily removes paper jams if any occur.
Equipped with a 9" paper entry, the DS-1 easily accepts standard letter or legal size documents. The durable steel cutters also accept credit cards, staples and small paper clips. An auto start/stop feature ensures quick, easy shredder operation. It includes 4.75-gallon mesh wastebasket – just step down and lift out to remove it for emptying. A magnetic safety interlock shuts shredder off when wastebasket is removed. Fellowes provides five years of warranty coverage on the cutter blades.
